BASED is committed to maintaining a safe environment for all users. We have implemented comprehensive measures to prevent child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM) on our platform. This policy outlines our standards and procedures.

Age Requirements

Minimum Age Policy

• BASED requires all users to be at least 18 years old
• Age verification is mandatory during account registration
• Users must provide their date of birth during sign-up
• Accounts found to belong to users under 18 will be immediately terminated

Child Safety Standards Against CSAE

Prohibited Content and Behavior

The following are strictly prohibited on BASED:

• Any sexual or suggestive content involving minors
• Grooming, solicitation, or exploitation of minors
• Sharing, requesting, or possessing CSAM
• Sexualization of minors in any form
• Content that endangers child safety
• Attempts to contact minors for inappropriate purposes

Detection and Prevention

• User reporting mechanisms for inappropriate content
• Swift response to reports involving child safety
• Review of reported content by trained moderation team
• Immediate action on verified child safety violations

In-App Reporting Mechanism

BASED provides multiple ways for users to report concerns:

Report Functions

• User Profiles: Report button on every user profile
• Posts & Comments: Report option on all content
• Messages: Report inappropriate messages directly
• Events & Venues: Report suspicious activities or locations

Report Categories

When reporting, users can select from specific categories including:

• Inappropriate behavior involving minors
• Suspected underage user
• Sexual content involving minors
• Harassment or exploitation
• Other child safety concerns

Addressing CSAM

Immediate Actions

• Instant removal of reported CSAM content
• Immediate suspension of accounts involved in CSAM
• Preservation of evidence for law enforcement
• Reporting to NCMEC (National Center for Missing & Exploited Children)
• Cooperation with law enforcement investigations

Review Process

• Priority review for all child safety reports
• Trained moderation team for sensitive content
• 24-hour response time for child safety issues
• Escalation procedures for urgent cases

Compliance with Child Safety Laws

BASED complies with all applicable child safety laws including:

• Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)

Appeal Process
