Download the BASED app from the App Store. Sign in using your Google or Apple account. - Is BASED free to use?

Using BASED
- How do I report an event?
Open the app, tap the report button, and follow the prompts to share event details and location. - How accurate is the location data?
BASED uses your device's GPS for accurate location data, typically within 5-10 meters.
Privacy & Security
- Is my data secure?
Yes, your data is stored securely using Firebase and Firestore. Read our Privacy Policy for details. - Can I use BASED anonymously?
BASED currently requires registration to access the app during our private preview. Anonymous browsing may be available in future updates. - How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account directly from the app in your profile settings.
Blocking Users
- How do I block someone?
Go to the user's profile and tap the block button. You can also block users from your privacy settings. - What happens when I block someone?
Blocked users cannot see your reports or interact with your content. You won't see their reports either. - How do I unblock someone?
Navigate to your privacy settings to view and manage your blocked users list.
Troubleshooting
Common Issues
- App crashes or freezes
Try closing and reopening the app. If issues persist, ensure you have the latest version installed. - Location services not working
Check that location permissions are enabled for BASED in your device settings. - Can't sign in
Make sure you're using the same Google or Apple account you used when first signing up. Check your device's account settings.
